Disney ILY doll outfits from Target work great with American Girl dolls. The clothes fit great, and while the quality is lesser quality than some other doll options, they’re a good deal for the prices (particularly if, like Nanea, your doll likes to change clothes a LOT). In an effort to compete with Amazon’s Prime Days, Target is having a big sale today and tomorrow including all Disney ILY dolls and outfits — and Nanea wanted to post her recommendation.
For play or even photo fashion, these are a great value. The fabric may be thinner than AG, but honestly, I think girls will enjoy these just as much in most cases, and for a fraction of the cost. The quality of the clothes feels pretty comparable to Our Generation and maybe some of the My Life. They fit the AG dolls very well. The shoes are a nice-feeling plastic (much heavier than I thought they’d be), and these open sandals fit the AG feet well. I also know several people who have had great success with the closed shoes from this line fitting their AG dolls.
And here’s Nanea’s favorite way to mix-and-match this outfit — with AG GOTY Joss’ meet shorts, the Hawaiian flower hair clip from Nanea’s meet outfit and a pair of Springfield sandals. The plastic shell necklace came from the Disney Animators Moana doll.
