Since Claudie is a new face mold, I thought it’d be nice to show her off with some of the other American Girl doll face molds. We don’t have JLY #4 or Makena anymore, but I think these photos will cover all the other AG molds (including the four boy molds). The biggest difference between Claudie and the other molds is certainly the size of her head. It’s more obvious in real life than some of these photos, but her head certainly looks larger than all the others. I’ll be posting head measurements and comparisons in the next entry, once I get her dewigged and take the usual wig photos.
First, let me mention that almost all of the dolls shown here have been customized, so most of the dolls here are not wearing their original wigs.

The photo above shows Claudie with Maritza (left) and Joss (right). While the Maritza doll (from the World by Us collection) was officially released as a Joss face mold, the head was definitely enlarged by quite a bit. The actual GOTY Joss doll on the right has what used to be a normal-sized head. So, I’m including a picture of both to show the difference.
