Didn’t it seem like June 2 would never get here? Well, it has, and the kids on Islandshire have outdone themselves prepping for the upcoming Islandshire Street Party in celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
Main Street has been meticulously cleaned (thanks to Eliot, as always the perfect host), windows washed and storefronts decorated with royal memorabilia. The island is exceptionally quiet right now, what with everyone baking or making decorations, but the silence won’t last long!
So, put on your best bib and tucker, and join the partygoers this weekend (some bit of purple and/or red-white-blue required) for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of this special woman’s life. God save the Queen!
